<B>IT's actually a little paper back book this story came out of called America's Incredible Stories (copyright 1989). It's a
whole bunch of little stories in one little book. (by Ed Manzi). As to the type of aircraft it simply says a military transport...I plan to do some research on this story too..I think it's very interesting! (Ive read of planes coming in with everybody dead or the plane empty in another book by a guy named Martin Caidin-I can't remember the exact title off hand but he writes some interesting true stories about aircraft -the B17's that flew themselves home practically with no fuel etc....a must read!) Anyway, back to the 1939 incident here...what could possibly be the explanation for this catastrophe? Everyone dead with puncture holes and scratches on them and the plane smelled strongly of sulfur? Another case of swamp gas I guess, or the reflection of birds in formation or some other equally absurd excuse I suppose. NOT! (I'm being saracastic of course, those are the excuses they come up with for UFO's usually, not a plane full of dead people...). Anyway if you do any research and find something good post it here ok and I will do the same.

The Chupacabra did it!
I mean, puncture wounds and sulfur, that sounds nuts. It reminds me of either vampires or the chupacabra. I don't know. I'll look it up if I feel like it later.

Thats an interesting obervation Kaeight. I just wrote an article on an old phenomenon called vampire dogs. But I admit that sounds very unlikely, so I speculated that the chupacabra might be responsible for the attacks that occurred in Europein the 19th century. Perhaps the chupacabra is a global, long term phenomenon, that occurs sporadically over time. I dont know that that is what happened on that airplane, but who knows?

Cool article Wos. I think my goal in life will be to make some kind of evil creature, like a mixed breed between a Doberman and a Chupacabra or something. I could use it to rule the world!
