I came across this article. It is about a doctor who is a strong proponent that the Phoenix lights phenomenon were NOT flares being dropped from military aircraft. She ( Dr. Lynne Kitei ) claims to have been videotaping the aerial shenanegans for years. Of course, it is possible that she is just trying to sell her book, but the article makes for some intriguing reading. Personally, I did find the US Air Force's explanation of flares being dropped to seem reasonable, and I saw a video documentation that presented some compelling circumstantial evidence that that was the case. But I am swayed that it is just too much of a coincidence that similar lights were spotted by several eyewitnesses hours earlier and miles away, lights that could not be mistaken for flares by any stretch of the imagination. Anyhow, here is the article, I found it interesting..

WOS years ago, 1986ish I was living at the foothills of Jerome az. I was kicking back in my hot tub when all of the sudden I see in the distance 3 black triangles steadfastly moving across the sky. They were all marked differently and slightly different sizes. This was right around the time frame of the Harmonic convergence so what ever year that was. I have always carried that experience close to my breast, as I felt as if I had once again been witness to something that was unbelievable. The few I told doubted it and tried to say it was military.NOT!! I for one believe the Phoenix lights happened and continue to happen. It has been common knowledge among old timers that lived near the military bases that we have always had visitors. They just felt endangered by talking. The ones I witnessed were heading straight for the airforce base in Pheonix. They were very close over head, beautiful.I did not want to arouse any attention though so no telling why I felt that way.I have heard Art Bell comment on his and his wife Ramona's experience with the same group, and it was then that I finally felt Validation.I have seen the Dr. on tv and was impressed with what she was trying to do, bring awareness to the subject and some respectability to the field. If she wanted to make money on the side, good.I have not heard much from her after her coming out though so she was probably put in her place...
