Speaking of Strange Phonecalls...

Heres a strange call I recieved a little over a month ago, after seeing willie upload his phone calls to the net I thaught it was a good idea, besides if I know other people have heard it makes me feel better, I don't know why, I'm just that way.

By the way this kinda freaked me out a little.

Okay, a little background story first.

The call recieved, is on a mobile phone message bank.

This was not my mobile phone, I don't own a mobile phone, I borrowed one from my father, the phones number isn't known to ANYONE, it wasn't used for him to be rung, rather for him to ring others, nor did I give anyone the number.

So naturally, the message bank didn't even have an 'away' message on it, as far as I know it would just beep and someone would leave a message, if the phone was turned off, which it was.

This was over a month ago, I only borrowed the phone for around a week, and this is a message on it towards the end (I wouldn't have even checked if it didn't tell me).

I'm quite sure that something is said quietly at the end, although its hard to make out what is said, all of what is recorded is the message, strange noises and all, this is as perfect as I could get it and as far as I can tell there is nothing recorded that wasn't on the message.

Tell me what you think, and if anyone could make out what is said at the end I would be grateful.

I am getting an error message when I try and play it. It says either the file is corrupt or WMP does not recognize the format.

There is a voice on the end of that message that sounds like a young woman or small boy. It says "Let it see" but it might say "Let's see", "Let's sleep", or "Let it sleep", but I think it says "Let it see"

It sounds like it was a boy who said "Unseen" but I'm almost positive it has the word see in it

That was very odd. It sounded like radeo interfierence but I did not hear the voice. *edit* I did hear it at the end. It sounds like "let it sleep"

Yes I thaught it could be something see/seen, maybe forseen or unseen.

I've had other strange phonecalls before, but that is the only one I have on record and willie inspired me to upload it. (I don't have an answering machine or anything like that).

One that I recall off hand is being told to call the number '666' if I "wanted to do a deal."

I think it was a prank, but I have never called it, nor do I have any intention of calling it.

Ok whats scary is that that word, whatever it is, shouldnt be there, I've looked at the soound file, and it shows all flat after the strange noises, the word should not be there...

I ran it through a special skin on my media player and found a sound dip in the end. Where the voice is. As soon as I can take a pic of it I will post it. But they seem to say "Unseenn"

We seem to agree that it says unseen or something very close to it, but the question is, what does it forewarn about/? Does it tell you to look for meaning behind things, as in to see more? Does it tell you to go and look for that of which is not known by many? Is it simply a message just to get you to listen? The only person who could tell us this is Jewboy.

well first off, stop repeating yourself, it is okay if you do it once in awhile by accident, but twice in a row, thats insane. Well, back to the message I will check it out one more time, and try to see whether or not it said Unseen. I will turn my volume loud enough to hear. I still have doubts whether or not this is the Mothman because I must take the skeptic role on this because it sounds quite unpractical and it seems all of these can be explained as a simple error between phones.

After about 7 or 8 tests, I managed to assure myself that whatever was on the other end of that call had said "Unseen" I also managed to get some screen shots of the Windows Media Player Scope View Mode, I share them with you now. Nevermind, I tried everything but it's too big an attachment. I did reduce the size greatly, but it was no match for the limits.

What do you mean by an odd turn, because it seemed fine to me, despite the fact that it was lower than an average voice.

I didn't think for a second it was the mothman, but now that you have mentioned it...

Although it is quite different from the call Willie got.

Actually, listening to them both, the "unseen/forseen" and the "1 2 3" are what seems to be similar, if not the exact same voice...
