Some of you may have noticed that when you click on a topic or click to reply there is a definite lag in the boards processing time. However the problem should be solved soon I hope. As we have located the source of the problem. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime....

WOS

I was gonna say that it was probably my avatar, but it took awhile(not a long while due to high speed) to get to this posting box. But I'm changing my avatar to screenshots of Street Fighter anyway.

As you may have noticed, performance time is much better now. Thanks to Otis! However, for some reason, some of freemasonx 's posts all got posted 4 times each time he posted. I was just hoping this would go away by itself, alas, no such luck. Stay tuned!

I have a question, I was changing my avatar from the "Ride the Fire-The Jorge" to a "Warning-The Jorge." In which it states, "WARNING: Writing on arms may cause: Blood Poisoning, rashes, and sense of awesome. BORED!!!!!!!!!!!_-The Jorge

I would go back and start from scratch. It looks like there is some other writing in there as well that doesn't belong.

The other writing is when it says Warning, part of the word stays there. But I'll try going back to scratch just incase. P.S. Freemason's post give me headaches.

The bad thing is, if you delete one of the four posts all four disappear. So hopefully we will see if this continues to happen when he posts later. I am hoping it is just his old posts that this happens to. Otherwise there is corruption in the data base, and we may need to ask him to create a new account! :(

Well it's still going on, but I don't think it's because of the database. I think it is because, as stated earlier by him, his connection is bad, and that is the cause. I think maybe he gets very impatient(depending on how long it takes) and continues to click this button. I base this on the fact that for most posts he has 4 posts, but for one of them, he only has two. The inconsistency means that it shouldn't be his connection, because if he were using it, he would get 4 posts and if he was using a laptop or other computer he would get only 1 like normal.

I am sorry......I think. At 6:40am CDT 5/4/04 a worm found its way into my companys server. I'm not very well versed in the world of computers, as it was explained that has to do with why my posts were cyberstuddering. I've re-registered as a totally new goofball please get rid of the old me as best you can. Thank god I own the company, or I might be looking for a new job, this little bug tore a hole in our AP/AR files and crashed two of our hard drives.

No worries, I am glad you were able to reregister and that seems to have taken care of the problem. Sorry to hear about your computers though. Hope you were able to clean your systems. What kind of business do you own?

A hand-me-down family business, machine shop. We're still having little problems here and there. I'm not sure our I.T. guy is worth his salt.

Hey post away. You need a breeak from work!!

I am going to spend some time removing all of the spongebob threads to this forum. I amquite sick right now, so I will probably do it when I am feeling better. ;)

It's easier to do it at home, then you don't have a half dozen chuckleheads saying, "do you really believe in that garbage?". At home, I've only got the family to ridicule(sp) me. Get well, WOS. What fixes me is sweating it out, sweatpants, ski hat, two pairs of socks, the point of uncomfortable, dose and a half of NyQuil and sleep. Good luck amigo!

Get better soon
Oh yeah, and your spelling of ridicule is fine, trust me. I would help to rid the Spongebob threads, but I have no idea how to.
