You people may think I'm a psycho, but thats ok cause I think some of you are psychos anyway. I think that coincidences happen too often to be just coincidences. I believe there may be some inner power that allows us to have power over little things, like t.v. shows. Poltergiests phenomenom has been known to occur with trouble teens. Certain people are able to see beyond, such as John Edwards. I don't watch that show, but maybe I should. If we learn to control that inner power, think of what we could accomplish!

You know, its a very interesting subject that you bring up. In fact I read your post and went digging, because the NY Times ran a very good article on just what you are saying a few weeks ago. Unfortunately if you want to view the article now, you have to pay for it! >(

Basically though, the article presented the argument that coincidences were more along the lines of happening by intuition, not by chance, that there is a psychic connection between yourself and the occurrence. I am sure you are right. I never really believed in coincidences, not big ones anyhow.

I don't believe in mind readings or psychic powers, and you probably know why, I am Christian. But, it could be a gift from God. Christians say it is a power from the devil, but it might not be. For example, John Edwards uses his gift for good. This is one of those things we will have to wait until the afterlife, if there is one, to find out.

I'm not talking about mind reading, I'm talking about controlling the future. I don't know why people would consider it satanic, it can be used for good. I mean, it is quite possible that aliens have already discovered this, since they must have more technology then us. Well, I'll try to figure it out.

I have a big problem with telepaths. I mean, what about my right to privacy? What if I am in a rush, and am on line to pay for gas, and some big dude is in front of me paying for a candy bar with a credit card, and I THINK to MYSELF "Oh man, what an f-ing idiot!" and he turns around and says to me "WHAT THE F DID YOU JUST THINK???" I mean, come on, its like time travel, it is just one of those things that shouldnt be.

I say time travel because of the implications like "If I go back in time, and kill my grandfather, I will cease to ever exist, because now my grand dad cant give birth to my father, and my father cannot sire me. But if I never existed, how did I kill my grandfather to start with???"


Well, maybe they are not the same, but if we had telepaths running around, people would be killing each other all over the place.

Which brings me to my next point.

I would appreciate it if we try and remain civil to one another. If you disagree, attack the idea or message, not the person. I am pretty loose with the rules here, however I dont like name calling, etc... So please play nice! :)

I seem to know when people that I know are in trouble.
Thoughts about them come into my mind when they are experiencing difficultires.

For example my neice - whom I only met once years ago, lives in another country and I never had any contact with - was on my mind for some reason, and then I heard her father died (whom I never met).

A distant auntie whom I hadn't talked to for years was on my mind and I found out she was going through a divorce.

I start thinking about people and within a couple of days they ring up.

Happens enough times that I am starting to wonder whats the matter with .... when I notice I am thinking about them...

Notice Fr. Graham (for those who don't know, he's the pastor of our school) has about 10 cars. But, he can't afford to give us a real gym and really doesn't seem to be lowering our tuition anytime soon. Also, the pope seems to be living large, if he is even still alive. He lives in a mansion-type "chapel" in Rome. If he is really holy, he should be living in poverty and helping make peace in the so called holy land. I think the whole Christian thing is a scam to make preists rich.

You guys both know that I am against celebrating religion in groups, I believe what I believe Fr. Frickin Graham believes what he believes and you believe what you believe. I don't think anyone will change their religion drastically, because that is what they truely believe. I can't help that if others who believe a slightly similar belief are greedy and flaunting it. Starting today, I tried moving things with my mind. When I first tried it this morning, I tried to move my deoderant into my hand. My hand was about two inches away from it, 'cause I wanted to start out small. I didn't move the deoderant, but my headboard to my bed (I was leaning on it because that's where my deoderant is) felt like it was breathing. I don't know if it was just my head playing tricks or I actually got some force of power, but I'm going to keep trying.
