I usually don't tell people I don't know too well this, but since I don't know you personally ehh and maybe you know what this could mean...

Well, I can't say anything about this because I am asleep when this happens and don't remember anything that would seem to go along with this... My family tells me I ... bark at night. Yes, bark and growl and everything. I also speek gibberish... I've never dreamt about a dog that I remember but I am told I bark and growl every night lol... Weird crap yes... Any ideas?

How do you know you weren't a dog, you maybe just forgot about the dream, or you might have even experienced a first person dream as a dog, but you couldn't tell because it was first person.

Cool, you might be experiencing something called "demons breath", and they used to kill people for it until the mid-19th century. When you sleep, your vocal chords relax and your deep breathing reverberates them, producing a gutteral, growling sound like a dog. Back then, they thought it was the work of the devil. Barking, however may be a symptom of tourettes syndrome. There are instances of the syndromes side effects happening during sleep(barking, swearing, whoops, etc..) Third option, past life. You could be rin-tin-tin re-encarnated. Or you could be demonically posessed, which will suck for you in the long run, but may be an excused absence from sunday morning church service.

Cool. Good explanations freemason. I never heard about that demons breath thing or tourettes syndrome before now. I'll look some more up about that stuff on my own when I have the time. The weirdest things that ever happened to me while I was asleep were: I used to walk and talk in my sleep, but was told I also turned on the t.v. and change channels once, one time I slept 18 hours straight with no apparent reason as to why or how, another time I woke up with ant poison on me, and another time, not too long ago, I woke up partially naked.

It takes a lot of courage to talk about things like this though. And I applaud you for doing so. I had never heard of demon's breath before, but I know about tourette's syndrome. I would think if it is TS you would exhibit some things during the day.

Have you been dabbling in anything that could have led to possession? You know, it's not like the movies portray...you don't necessarily spit pea soup and speak latin backwards!

Actually I tracked it down to something called Somniloquy, which is, basically a condition of... talking in your sleep. Remember I do this every night though so family members dislike this. Especially considering I just got back from vacation haha (sharing a hotel room with someone with Somniloquy is bad I take it from my mom and dad hehe... Snoring comes with it too, bad bad snoring) So... Also, to make matters worse for people living in the middle ages, and to make this even sadder, this symptom is almost always in children or young adults (I'm 16). So in the middle ages that would of sucked... I also do "meep"ing sound, and it sounds guttural meeping but still... meep meep meep on the tape I recorded of myself... then barking again haha. Sigh oh well.

I've heard of a condition, but can't remember what they call it. People who are taking a language class or hear another language on a regular basis. They can't put together more than a basic phrase in this language while awake, but sleep talk this language semi-fluently. Has anyone else heard about this?

I think I've heard of that before but don't know what to call it. I've been taking two years of German now and sometimes if I'm not paying attention I'll start writing a mix of English and German, but that's something different.

lol. I used to walk in my sleep. i went all the way down to my basement steps and then woke up. and i think i might talk in my sleep now cuz when we went on vacation my mom said i was talkin in my sleep (we shared the hotel room). but im not sure about barking...erotic dreams? lol
