View Full Version : Do You Believe in Vampires?

Personally I dont believe in vampires, not in the way they are portrayed on television. There was a bizarre case in Scotland, of this fellow named Alan Menzies, whom killed his friend and ate part of his brain after the deceased friend made fun of a movie called "Queen of the Damned". Menzies really believed he was a vampire but ended up killing himself in prison after less than a year of being incarcerated. I think that people like that are as close to being a vampire as you can get. But nothing supernatural there. There are people with a disease though that cannot stand the sunlight, and break out really bad when exposed to uv. But they are just normal people with a skin disease.

Nope I personally think they do exist and we have been living among them for years and years!

Talk about futile existance, to be damned, to necessitate your life by feeding. IF they exist, one would think that the quickest release would be for them to take a walk and go see a sunrise.

vampires are as fake as buffy the vampire slayers boobs

There are cannibals and people that wear goth and drink blood. There's also people that have severe sun allergy and people with garlic allergies. If you had all three traits then I suppose you would be the absolute closest to a vampire other than the whole immortality and giving the disease to others stuff. So while there are people with similarities to vampires and people that pretend to be them, "real" vampires of storybook/Hollywood don't exist and never have. You might be able to genetically engineer one sometime in the near future though, but you would be doing it illegally and unethically and I don't know why you would.

The same reason that there is a human cat who decides to waste all my time by shamelessly advertising himself on vh1.

While I will conceede that there is an ounce of truth to every pound of BS. The classical tale of the Vampire, is a tale told to keep people in line. 1) you must be in by dark, and these demons cannot enter your house, unless invited. 2)your only defense are non-secular items, holy water and a crucifix. 3) to indulge or be taken in by this lifestyle, is to be damned eternally. The whole myth is a metaphor for the perpetuation of a deeply penatant (monastic) life.

...not to mention the church really wants you to **** someone up with a stake(probably added on to the myth later on)

Does the Catholic Church believe in Vampires??? 8o

Good question. But what better way to keep puritanical, "everyone in before dark, no barhopping! Make sure your cross is hung on the wall in plain sight, don't invite strangers in, stay on the straight and narrow!

:lol Thats so funny but so true! Maybe I will call the local parish and conduct an interview:

"Hello, my name is William One Sac and I represent the Eye's Behind website. How are you today?

|Thats great, listen I want to ask you the Church's position on vampires. Yea or nay?" :)

Hey Agent M, how would you like to be deputized as a field reporter for the Eye's Behind website?

William One Sac
01-19-2005, 07:00 PM
Thats right Agent M! You go to a Catholic school! So ask one of the nuns what the church's stance on vampires is.

If you want you can also say you came to school early to watch the nuns landing on the roof, and you were wondering how they fly without a broom. :| But ask the vampire question first. And if they say Yes that the church does believe in vampires, try and think of some more questions, like who was the last guy they staked, that sort of thing. Okay, now go to work bud!

If you have any reservations about it ask Kaeight to ask, tell her I want her to do it as a favor for me. And let her know we fixed her account.

Oh boy, this is gonna be great! The board has a field operative. You know, agent M, should you choose to accept this assignment, it would look great on your resume, if you decide to work for the CIA in collection and gathering. ;)

Haha

Last Friday, I, along with 4 other people, were hired by him to go search his rooms and pick out any wigs or anything that could be used in the play Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. Not only did we find costumes and such, we also found his guns(loaded) and machete.

It's risky business, we could be shot for being "heretics"

William One Sac
01-28-2005, 07:00 PM
It's a dangerous world Agent M. I cant tell you that life, without taking risks, is like diet Coke. It's got everything but is missing the sugar! Why when I was your age I would have jumped at the chance at an exciting assignment like this. I am really surprised that Kaeight has turned down this opportunity at fun and learning. Alright, I am going to call the convent tomorrow, it's too late to call right now.

agentmoulder254

But Street Fighter more than makes up for the missing sugar

That game has never been the same for me ever since I found out Ken and Ryu were lovers.

agentmoulder254
01-29-2005, 07:00 PM
haha, i mean how dare you mock the name of street fighter

...wow, i just realized street fighter(alpha 3) can now be considered old school, i've been playing it since I first got ps1, that's odd, you'd think that after 6+ years I'd get tired of it. Which brings up the question, when did ps1 come out? Which reminds me, I have to get my copy of sf:ex+a back from my friend(after 4 years of borrowing it)

William One Sac
01-29-2005, 07:00 PM
I am not sure when the P1 came out. I played Street Fighter though when that first came out, Id say it was in 1993 or 94. I kind of lost interest though when they started adding X-Men and 20 hit combo's. That was a big machine in a 7-11 store near where I lived at the time. Now that I am thinking back, Id say that the PS1 came out in 95 or more likely 96, I rented it from a blockbuster.

I OWNED the Street Fighter/Xmen thing at Lazertag, it's not as good as the plain old sf, but what can you do

William One Sac
01-29-2005, 07:00 PM
Anyhow, I am an old school MK fan. That was truly the first, ultra violent non-PC game.

FINISH HIM!!!

I have an Mortal Kombat game for my X-Box but I have only played it once or twice.

They don't make the original MK's for Playstation

I concour! "FINISH HIM" is one of the all time great arcade game slug lines. You really felt like you'd accomplished something when you heard that phrase. :p

I don't personally believe there are vampires per se but that there are sick people who think they are...they become deranged & think they need blood to live...it takes all kind of weirdos to make the world go 'round apparently. :o

People say that the blood makes them feel empowered and high.it must be sad to wish that you were an actual vampire and have to live with yourself, full well knowing that youre not what you admire so much.It would be like busting the tube out of the TV and looking out entertaining your friends and family from behind it. The truth is, if you are NOT an Actor no matter how big the TV is, you are still not an actor.I think there is truth in Vlad the impaller. And in lower astral worlds.I wanted to get high one time and smoked pine needles.
